Asking for an impartial voice

[edit]

Hello @The Squirrel Conspiracy. I was wondering if I could ask you for a favor. There's currently a contentious discussion going on at File:Flag of Portugal.svg on the topic "File outdated" that greatly needs an impartial voice there, I believe I'm reaching out the right user. I would be thankful if I could see your opinion there. Best regards, Oos88 (talk) 02:39, 26 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by Ironfever

Hi, for Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by Ironfever, was your closing reason meant to be deleted instead? Thanks. Tvpuppy (talk) 07:05, 26 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Is this a bad deletion?

[edit]

I brought up some stuff at Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/User problems#User: Miguel Angel Omaña Rojas; the details aren’t super important but essentially User:Yann F10 speedy deleted a bunch of porn the user in question uploaded with the explanation/excuse that “low quality porn is speedy deleted all the time”. I’m pretty sure this has never happened outside of cases where F10 applies for other reasons; since the user in question has been an active contributor for several years I don’t think F10 can ever apply to them, let alone in this situation. From where I’m standing seems like Yann was looking for a way to punish him without a block and solve the problem at hand simultaneously, but did it in a very poor and out-of-process way. I would like a second administrator’s opinion and possibly an undelete if you think Yann made a bad call. Thanks, Dronebogus (talk) 20:24, 28 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
