Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.
Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.

Títere detectado por Pato

Hola: Cuenta expulsada de WP en español por títere de otra cuenta expulsada en Commons. No se verificó vía checkuser sino por Pato. Por favor, ¿podrías revisar sus contribuciones aquí? Algunas sólo son recortes de imágenes disponibles para su uso libre. Otras no, sino que son capturas de pantalla de programas de TV, entre otras. Muchas gracias. Saludos. Hola estimado @Taichi, igualmente tengas buena semana. Estuve revisando las subidas del titiritero pero solo encontré una subida problemática, que borré. Creo que podrían borrarse las otras tratándose del usuario problemático que es pero son usadas en varias Wikipedias, por lo que sería bueno nominarlas a todas para borrado y ver qué se decide. Hi. I don't feel like "deleted per nomination" is a sufficient explanation. Can you cite any decision by a court that would show how that logo consists of something more than text effects that per the passage I quoted cannot be copyrighted in the U.S.? @Ikan Kekek: Sorry, but I think you don't understand the context behind this. The master has evaded blocks for some years on both the English and Spanish Wikipedias. We, the local administrators are having a lot of trouble with this account, and what it is leaving on Commons invites the master to continue evading blocks. These positions that leave an open door are a soft form of collaborationism. I'm sorry, but I'm not one to keep quiet and I prefer to say it head on when faced with an annoyance. As a bureaucrat/admin on Wikivoyage, I'm sympathetic to dealing with trolls and spammers, but where is there a Commons policy that apparently useful files that are widely in use can or should be deleted based on the identity of the uploader? Hello, you recently closed the discussion for my deletion request, I just want a sufficient reason as to why.

The reason you provided sort of insinuates that you think there is a COM:SCOPE issue regarding F10 when the image uploaded, but per the source, is in no way connected to me.

There's also the fact that you used the term "AI-assisted" when in the original DR, it has been established that the person who prompted the image is not an artist, he has no reason to edit the portrait that was generated. The only editing done was him cropping the screenshot to where it shows a preview of the generated image and me covering up the preview of one of many photos that was used to generate this image due to copyright reasons.

Finally, you called the picture a profile picture when, again, the subject depicted has never used this particular image as a profile picture. In fact the photo was never exported, the only publicly available version of this image is a screenshot of the software used, which has a massive circle in the middle. El 31 de enero de 2025, Mapas Ecuador sube file:Región costa.svg. Dos días después agrega el mapa a la Wikipedia en italiano. Es un evidente PATO. He cambiado el bloqueo de David para reflejar que ha estado evadiéndolo con títeres. Bedivere (talk) 04:59, 19 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hay otras más como LuchoVaca, Luis Guevara 1969, La Guaytamba, J Leguízamo1988, César Maldonado 2 que he descubierto pues el usuario ha subido archivos con los mismos nombres.

Realmente estoy sorprendido por la escala de disrupción que ha creado este usuario. En algunos casos ha resubido archivos con los mismos nombres y mismos contenidos, como es el caso de Jaime Roldós. Hola Bedivere, consulto con este caso, al parecer ha subido numerosas fotos en Commons. Puede que algunas fotos sí sean tomadas por él pero hay muchas otras que se ven claramente uue no. Problemas con el archivo File:Cobreloa 1977 1.jpg

Hola @Bedivere, Hace aproximadamente menos de un día, el archivo Cobreloa 1977 1.jpg fue eliminado de Wikicommons, por el usuario llamado @Carlos yo, el argumento que agregó el usuario fue un archivo de prensa del año 2022 de la editorial Calama en Línea, yo le argumenté en su página de discusión que el archivo que fue subido a wikicommons fue en el año 2014, y le expresé que su argumento no era lo suficiente para borrar el archivo y que si pudiera explicar con más detalles sobre su decisión, a lo que no existió interacción.

El usuario usualmente no contesta a las apelaciones a sus decisiones y hace complejo la democratización, o bien que existe un debate sobre sus decisiones. Acudo a usted para ver si existe si hay una posibilidad de ver si el archivo puede ser recuperado, o bien encontrar el argumento necesario para su eliminación. ¡Muchas gracias! Haciendo la descripción de la fotografía es(era) básicamente el plantel de Cobreloa de 1977 haciendo la formación protocolar de formación de 11 jugadores, no es el escudo(logo) de Cobreloa.

Ahora observando, borraron por completo las fotografías de ese usuario. ¿Puedo preguntar por qué?

Tienes razón, la imagen no era el escudo sino la de un plantel. La verdad es que este usuario tenía varias otras fotografías, que decía que eran de su autoría, pero que aparecen en distintos portales (así pude acreditarlo). En consecuencia, fueron borradas. El problema para mi es la argumentación que se usa para defender el borrado, aún no se me responde el porqué se usa una autoría del año que se registra en el año 2022, para determinar la eliminación de una fotografía que se subió el año 2014. Ahora si usted tiene todas las autorías originales con sus respectiva referencia y editoriales dueñas de las fotos originales, sería suficiente para mí para dejar de lado el asunto. Pero considero injusto que se use un criterio así para determinar el borrado de un archivo. Ahora, si saben algo que yo no sepa, con gusto tendré que aceptar el termino de ésta discusión. Yo se que las presunciones están fuera de lugar, pero el usuario se llama similar como el jugador de Cobreloa Gustavo Cuello, y puede que esas fotografías sean de su autoría y no se le ha dado ese derecho. "Commons is not the place to support your political initiatives" overrides COM:INUSE?

Do you really think File:Kurdistan LGBT pride flag.png should be deleted because it reflects a political agenda, when it's in use in 7 Wikipedia articles? I don't think COM:INUSE means anything if files in use can be deleted because of the identity or actions of the uploader or because someone disapproves of their political agenda, and I'm also confused about the current status of the file. Buenas Bedivere, primero que nada espero estés bien. Tengo este caso que ya sinceramente el usuario sigue subiendo imágenes tomadas de otra parte y no da atribución alguna, como he ido marcando fotos que subió de Facebook, ahora sube escudos que claramente se nota que no las creó él.
