As a rough guideline, administrators usually require editors to have made more than 500 useful non-botlike edits, and to have been active in the last thirty days. Patrollers and License reviewers don't have to request this flag.
Your edits here look fine to me. (I've also added the overwriting template to that file) Could you explain in your own words the reasons why you were blocked from frwiki last year? Abzeronow (talk) 20:11, 19 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
As far as I understand, the autopatrolled flag will help to get around cases like this; in addition, I have plans to overwrite some of my uploads with better versions (using different noise reduction filters). Thank you. Yuri Samoylov (talk) 16:38, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I could clean up that mess since I can turn that category into a redirect and have a bot do the category moves. I would like to see consensus for that though. Abzeronow (talk) 19:20, 25 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. I've noticed some river categories contain several different rivers sharing the same name. AWB would be a good tool to help me split them, and then do similar jobs more widely. I've used it for quite a while on en wikipedia. Thanks. --Northernhenge (talk) 14:59, 14 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I've granted autopatroller to you since that would help you access Visual File Change. I'm not opposed to granting you access to AWB but since I haven't granted this particular right before, I'm not exactly sure on the criteria (and I read your message on my talk page). As a rough guideline, administrators usually require editors to have made at least 1,000 useful, non-botlike edits or a large amount of justified renaming requests at Commons before they will consider granting the filemover right.
I would like permission to rename files according to the project's standardization. I have almost 15 years of registration and my requests in this regard are successful, so I would like to be able to do this on my own. Thank you. Jtalk22:38, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello @Cyberwolf, thank you for applying. I can see that you have a 50% success rate with your renaming requests. Also you just got autopatrol 4-5 days ago. Maybe you should come back when you have a much better record with your renaming requests. Thank you. Shaan SenguptaTalk02:11, 28 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
